Short version

Flip Clock runs entirely in your browser. There is no account, no login, and we do not operate a database of your clocks or photos.

What stays on your device

• Display settings (format, colors, backgrounds) in localStorage.
• Uploaded background photos — read with FileReader and never uploaded to a server.
• Theme choice (dark / light) and Pomodoro session count.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics with a placeholder measurement ID (G-XXXXXXX) to understand aggregate usage. No advertising profile is built from timer usage. You can block analytics with any content blocker and the clocks keep working.

Notifications and wake lock

Timer notifications use the Notification API only after you grant permission, and the keep-awake toggle uses the Screen Wake Lock API. Both are off by default.
