Theme: Signature glow

Gallery

One tap applies background, card, digit color, style and font together. Fine-tune afterwards in Settings.

Your photo themes

Upload a photo to create your own theme. It uses your current card, digit and font settings over your photo — everything stays on this device.

Eight looks, one tap each

The gallery above is the fast path. Noir Gallery pairs ink cards with warm paper for a print-shop feel. Matcha cools things into soft green. Bauhaus goes loud with primary shapes and amber digits. Neon Night, Ocean Glass and Sunrise Club lean into glow for evening streams and desk setups, while Peach Paper and Mono Ink stay quiet for daylight and minimal rooms. One tap applies background, card color, digit color, card style and font together — then Settings lets you adjust a single piece without losing the rest.

Your photos as themes

The photo theme box turns any picture under about 1.4 MB into a clock background with your current card and font choices on top. Cabin shots, grainy film scans and desk-flat gradients all work; darker images read best with light digits. Up to twelve themes save in this browser only — nothing uploads, so a personal photo stays personal. Photos are downscaled to fit storage and never uploaded anywhere.

Styling that still tells time

Keep contrast high if the clock doubles as a flip clock for your desktop: outlined cards over busy photos, solid cards over gradients. Content creators often run this aesthetic clock fullscreen behind study-with-me videos because the flip motion gives a scene life without sound. Press F to preview any theme edge to edge, add Keep screen awake for streams, and share the look with Copy share link — the URL carries your exact theme to any screen. The same theme instantly applies to the timer, stopwatch and pomodoro views because they share one engine. Delete a photo theme anytime; the clock falls back to your last built-in background.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get a retro flip clock screensaver on Mac?

You can use this site as a retro flip clock screensaver on Mac without installing anything. Open flipclock.bond in Safari or Chrome, choose the Clock or Aesthetic theme you like, press F for fullscreen, then turn on Keep screen awake in Settings. Dim the room lights for the full vintage flap effect. For a true system screensaver, keep the browser fullscreen instead of the built-in photo screensaver.

Is there a free online flip clock?

Yes, flipclock.bond is a completely free online flip clock with no signup, ads or installs. You get the live clock, world clock with every time zone, countdown timer, stopwatch with laps, Pomodoro focus timer and eight aesthetic themes at no cost. All tools run in your browser and work on phone, tablet or desktop. Bookmark the page and it is always ready when you need large readable time.

How do I make the flip clock full screen?

Press F on your keyboard or use the Fullscreen button in Settings to make the flip clock full screen. The cards expand to fill your monitor edge to edge, controls fade away, and pressing Esc or F again exits. It works on Windows, Mac, Chromebooks and tablets. Combine fullscreen with Hide controls and Keep screen awake for a clean desk display, classroom projector or overnight bedside clock without dimming.

Is my data stored or uploaded anywhere?

No, your data is never stored on a server or uploaded anywhere. This flip clock runs entirely in your browser, with preferences, pinned zones, Pomodoro counts and photo themes kept only in your device localStorage. No account, tracking profile or cloud sync exists. Clearing site data removes everything. You can verify this by blocking network access after load — all tools except fresh updates keep working fully offline.
